HALLOWEEN 2017

Once again halloween is here and we work it at our classes. This year 5th and 6th grade  made this amazing skulls to know more about Mexican's "Dead's Day". And our language assistant made a presentation about our scary celebration. Have a look...!

On reading time we use english class' reading corner. Teacher Eugenia brought a pocket full of wonderful ideas from USA and we learn at the same time as we enjoy...

Bilingual Album

Pre primary students are learning more and more about Fragas do Eume. Here you can see  the English class routine.

Firstly, we go to the corridor and look for the picture to learn the name in Galician and English.

Then we glue the picture in the correct place.

 And we talk !!

How many pictures have we got? What´s your favourite plant? What´s this? Where is the river?...

Then, we go back to the classroom and we have an especial treat for being such a good explorers!!!!!

BILINGUAL ALBUM 2017

What can storytelling offer.

Children have an innate love of stories. Stories create magic and a sense of wonder at the world. Stories teach us about life, about ourselves and about others. Storytelling is an unique way for students to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other cultures.

I want my banana is a short story about a monkey. Monkey is hungry, but he can't find his banana. Some fearsome jungle creatures offer him tasty alternatives, but Monkey is convinced of their generosity.

Our pre primary students are learning about food and healthy habits.
Today Teddy is very hungry!!! He likes bananas,potatoes,carrots,apples,oranges... and he wants to eat everything!!!

VALENTINE'S DAY

Today we celebrate Valentine´s Day!! 

During the previous  days our primary students were doing different activities to learn about this celebration and have fun  making Valentine´s cards for their friends, classmates and families, singing songs, doing Valentinés Word searches, crosswords or mandalas.
